Day of India at Mkhitar Sebastatsi Educational Complex

Dedicated to the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi

On the 22nd of February 2019, Indo-Armenian Friendship NGO in collaboration with “Mkhitar Sebastatsi” Educomplex and with the support of the Embassy of India in Armenia, organized a ‘Day of India’ in memory of Mahatma Gandhi.

The event, which was dedicated to the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi was held in the “Mkhitar Sebastatsi” Educomplex to mark the launch of the celebrations dedicated to the most impactful and significant figure in the history of India.

Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi or Mahatma Gandhi, as he is famously called, was born on October 2 in the year 1869. In India, his birthday is celebrated as Gandhi Jayanti and 2019 marks his 150th birth Anniversary. Embassy of Indian in Armenia.....Read More
