Armenian MP and head of “Armenia-India Friendship Group of the National Assembly of the Republic of

On the 5th of June 2019, Indian Cultural Center had the honour of hosting Mr Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, Member of Parliament from the ruling "My Step Alliance" in the National Assembly of Armenia.

Mr Hovhannisyan, being a career educationist, has been entrusted with the position of the Deputy Chair Of “The Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sports” in the Armenian Government.

He also heads the “Armenia-India Friendship Group of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia”.

Mr Rananjay Anand, Co-Founder and President of Indo-Armenian Friendship NGO and Mrs Ruzanna Ashughyan, Vice President of IAF welcomed Mr Hovhannisyan and introduced him to the various facilities and activities of the Indian Cultural Center. The sides also discussed in detail about the various ways India and Armenia could work together in the fields of education, science & technology.

The meeting ended on a positive note with a promising future of stronger Indo-Armenian Ties.
