Message to IAF from His Excellency
His Excellency Sri Yogeshwar Sangwan, the outgoing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to the Republic of Armenia and Georgia has very generously sent the following note to Indo-Armenian Friendship NGO.
A few thoughts and impressions
I would like to convey my sincere and heartfelt gratitude to Shri Rananjay Anand, President of the India Armenian Friendship (IAF) NGO, Mrs. Ruzanna Ashughyan Anand, Vice President of IAF, Ms. Lusine Toroyan, General Secretary of IAF, Mr. Karen and all other members of the IAF for their tremendous zeal and enthusiasm in activities related to India and Armenia. During my three year tenure in Armenia, IAF organized several cultural activities in collaboration with the Embassy. IAF also started the Indian Cultural Centre in Yerevan where Yoga, Hindi and Indian dances are taught. The Centre also has a India corner with 51 books related to Indian culture and civilization gifted my Embassy of India under the “Bharat ek Parichay” initiative of the Ministry of External Affairs of India. I found that IAF members are dedicated and involved in their activities because of their mutual love for India and Armenia. I wish IAF all success in their future endeavours. I think IAF has the potential and will pursue activities which will greatly promote bonds and friendship between India and Armenia and peace and harmony in the world. I will always cherish the memories of my association with IAF.

On behalf of Indo-Armenian Friendship NGO we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude and appreciations to His Excellency for his continuous support, guidance and encouragement during his tenure as the Ambassador of India to Armenia. Right from the day of taking charge as the Ambassador, His Excellency has always been very helpful and approachable, which has resulted in a number of programs successfully planned and executed in association with the Embassy of India for which we shall be forever indebted to him.
We would like to point out that this letter is dedicated first and foremost to all our members, supporters and volunteers who have always stood by us and with us throughout these years. They are the actual backbone and support system that we rely on without whom we wouldn't exist as an organisation.
Team IAF wishes His Excellency all the best in all his future endeavours and congratulates him on a successful completion of his tenure.
